We are seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for automating and streamlining our infrastructure, deploying and managing cloud-based systems, and ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of our applications. Job Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Automation: Design, build, and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Automate deployment pipelines for efficient delivery of software and updates.
- CI/CD Management: Develop and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions. Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment processes.
- Monitoring & Security: Implement robust monitoring and alerting solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack. Ensure system security by implementing best practices, including vulnerability assessments and patch management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with software engineers, QA teams, and product managers to ensure smooth and reliable deployment of applications. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance system reliability and development efficiency. Document procedures, configurations, and workflows for knowledge sharing and onboarding.
Job Requirements
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Strong knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes. Experience with version control systems like Git and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible. Familiarity with Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting.
- Cloud Skills: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Knowledge of serverless technologies and cloud-native applications is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work in an Agile environment and adapt to evolving needs.
Skill & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with security monitoring tools, vulnerability scanners, and forensic tools.
- You have some previous experience working in an agile environment – Think two-week sprints.
